Kids Judo at FightWorks

Judo meaning "gentle way", is a modern Japanese martial art and combat sport, that originated in Japan in the late nineteenth century. One of its most prominent features is where the object is to either throw, trip, or take one's opponent to the ground. The goal can then be to immobilize or otherwise subdue one's opponent with a grappling maneuver, or force the opponent to submit. Our children’s program focuses on learning great techniques but also having fun. The kids get great exercise, meet new friends, and learn discipline and respect in a safe and clean environment.
